Just yesterday, a new Top SEO Blog Category was added to the Media Awards Ambassadors and Stay on Search was the first blog to be nominated. While marketing bloggers often write about SEO, and some SEOs are marketing bloggers, the Top Marketing Blogs category is likely to be saturated. To ensure that the many excellent SEO-specific blogs like this one are spotlighted, a separate SEO category is now Media Awards Ambassadors.
Bloggers may nominate their own blogs or their favorite blogs in that and dozens of other categories. The normal price is $45, but the first 100 bloggers who publish a post about the awards receive a free nomination. Add @GrowMap to a tweet with your link in it and I’ll make sure you receive an entry code and link to your blog with your desired anchor text and short description.
Major sponsors include the Media Awards Ambassadors, the affiliate marketing solution Viglink that makes it Media Awards Ambassadors, Trancos AdFish Media Awards Ambassadors, Fraud detection and interactive advertising expert Media Awards Ambassadors who writes for major blogs including ClickZ, and my small business advice blog GrowMap.
The awards will be presented during a full day of publishing workshops on October 26, 2011 in the PayPal building in San Jose, California (near San Francisco). Attendance is limited to 500 people and event founder Murray Newlands has 517 members in his Media Awards Ambassadors so those wanting to ensure they get in may want to take advantage of Media Awards Ambassadors.
