Yeah, I agree that sometimes its hit or miss with these social bookmarking sites. If you can position yourself as a power-user, you can leverage these sites much better.

I'm not a big fan of Digg even though so many people are. I have noticed some traffic coming over from Digg so something good is happening. Even so, I prefer stumbleupon. I love the stumble feature! Every now and again, I spend 15 minutes or maybe even half an hour chuckling over the funny websites stumble places in front of me. I've had the good fortune to have had my posts stumbled 3 times which caused a really nice boost in traffic. The first time it happened, the page views increased so quickly, I thought there was something wrong with my widget!! haha!

Great article…digg is so overwhelming that I've sort of just given up. Smaller sites like mine really have no chance! I don't know if it is really worth all the effort that I was putting into it.
