Backlinks are like votes to your site from other sites which pretty much tell something about your credibility. So I think it just makes sense to leave comments that add value to your site. Otherwise, this may backfire. Leaving spammy comments will definitely hurt you in the long run.
Yeah I agree this is interesting software, Mark. Just started using it this weekend. I tend not to worry so much about do follow or not either. Including both helps to create a more natural feel to your links like you said. However do you worry about the age of the blog posts returned by FBF? Some of the results returned are for posts over a year old. Or do you just plow thru the results leaving comment after comment where possible? Do you use a web proxy? You mentioned outsourcing. Do you have a so many per hour number you expect them to complete? I’ve seen 6-8 an hour is good. But I have yet to figure this all out myself before turning it over to my helpers. One thing I’ll do is have something like yahoo.answers open in another tab. That way I can do a quick search, come up with an idea or two to enrich my response - if I choose to use the approach of adding to the blog owners post. That is cool way to find the blogs. usually what i do is type Keyword + Blog and check the site with SEO plugin and then post the comment. Ofcourse, it is necessary to read fully and comment. just a plain thanks will be deleted. Thanks for the tip

Hello! Blog commenting is essential for bringing traffic-that is why we all do it, right? Of course, it is even better when you can build mutual confidence with the blogger. I do not comment just on sites similar to mine, but on all the sites that I find interesting or that have topics that are useful for me to learn about. Hi Mark, thanks for this great video. I have a question for you about the content of the actual comment. In the 'Name' field of the comment, do you put your keyword in there, or just use your real name? The reason I ask is because I tried putting my keyword in there and bloggers just reject it as spam. What's your advice? Thanks!
Great question Jon. Personally I like to put an actual Name in the Name field. Just like you said, bloggers tend to delete comments when they see the commenter is only out to get a link (especially when its not relevant to the blog). Just because you put your name in the field, doesn't mean you won't get link juice....you still will. Yes, you may get more link value with the keywords linking to your domain, but the percentage of getting your comments accepted go WAY down. If you really want to get good anchor text in your comment. Leave a comprehensive comment (100-350 words), then link to a relevant post on your site using the proper anchor text in your comment. Hi Mark, Thanks very much for your quick reply. I see your point - makes more sense to use a name instead of risking ending up on a spam list. Sometimes on Comment Luv blogs I use my keyword, otherwise I'll just stick to a name from now on.
I downloaded the fast blogg finder, find it works well but isnt it more natural to have both do follow and no follow so it looks more like a human is doing it, is this not what google likes?. other then that it seems to be quite useful.
Yes, the goal is to manually comment on these blogs. The secret sauce in this software is the ability to easily find lots of quality, relevant blogs to comment on. I would recommend manually commenting to both the dofollow and nofollow blogs to make your links look more natural. Always take the time to read the post and leave an insightful comment.
